Španski študenti pogosteje poudarjajo pomen kulturne zavesti, spoznavanja različnih kultur in interdisciplinarnega povezovanja, slovenski pa večkrat izpostavljajo povezanost z učnimi načrti, boljše razumevanje snovi in aktivno vlogo učenca.

Title:The attitude of students in primary school education towards teaching in museums in Slovenia and Spain
Abstract:In master's thesis, we explore museum pedagogy as a link between school and cultural heritage and examine how students in Slovenia and Spain perceive museums. The theoretical part presents museums and their educational role, basic concepts and the development of pedagogy, characteristics of museum pedagogy, teaching outside the classroom and in museums, and various models of learning and teaching that support active, experiential, and collaborative learning. The empirical part presents a survey in which 276 classroom teaching students participated, namely 188 students from the University of Maribor (68.1%) and 88 students from the Nebrija University in Madrid (31.9%). The data was collected using a questionnaire. The results show that students have a positive attitude towards museums and perceive them as environments where pupils actively explore, connect learning material with authentic objects and develop critical thinking. Certain differences between the two countries were also revealed. Spanish students more often emphasize the importance of cultural awareness, learning about different cultures, and interdisciplinary connections, while Slovenian students more often highlight the connection with curricula, better understanding of the material, and the active role of the student. The responses show that students experience museums as a place that enriches teaching and encourages creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking among students, which highlights the importance of greater integration of museum pedagogy into the education of future teachers and the need for closer cooperation.
