Učenci so uspešno povezovali praktične izkušnje z naravoslovnimi pojmi, vendar so se pri razumevanju abstraktnejših procesov pojavljale težave, kar kaže na potrebo po dodatni učiteljevi podpori, sistematični organizaciji dela in postopnem uvajanju strokovne terminologije.

Title:Water through experimentation: models from reused materials for 5th grade students
Abstract:This master's thesis, entitled Water through Experimentation: Models from Reused Materials for 5th Grade Students, addresses the use of an inquiry-based experimental approach in science class. The aim of the research was to determine how an inquiry-based experimental approach, conducted as a science activity day with station-based learning, affects the understanding of natural science phenomena among 5th-grade primary school students. The research is based on a qualitative empirical approach. Data were collected using an open-ended worksheet, and the analysis was based on descriptive and interpretative methods of pedagogical research. The results show that the inquiry-based experimental approach has a positive effect on students' understanding and promotes the development of research skills, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative learning. Students successfully connected practical experience with scientific concepts; however, difficulties emerged in understanding more abstract processes, indicating the need for additional teacher support, systematic organization of work, and the gradual introduction of professional terminology.
