Abstract:Zadovoljstvo zaposlenih je ključen dejavnik uspeha vsake organizacije, še posebej na področju zdravstvene nege, kjer je kakovost zdravstvene oskrbe pacientov odvisna od motivacije in zavzetosti zaposlenih.

Title:Employee satisfaction with the use of transformational leadership in nursing
Abstract:Employee satisfaction is a key factor in the success of any organization, especially in the field of healthcare, where the quality of patient care depends on the motivation and commitment of employees. Healthcare employees face workloads, stress and emotional challenges, which increases the need for effective leadership. The purpose was to determine the satisfaction of healthcare employees with a transformational leadership style and to set solutions. Methods: A systematic overview of literature, with a time frame between 2014 and 2024, in the field of satisfaction, in connection with the transformation style of managing employees in nursing, was used. The review was held in databases: Pubmed, Cinahl, ScienceDirect and Cochrane Library. A diagram is used to review the literature. A quality comparative analysis was made on the basis of the literature review. Results: We found 525 hits in the databases, and 5 studies were included in the final analysis. Through a literature review, we found that the transformational leadership style, due to its characteristics, is strongly associated with employee satisfaction in healthcare. Discussion and conclusion: Employees under transformational leaders report higher levels of motivation for work, innovation, and lower levels of stress and strain. Training for leaders would help to improve employee satisfaction in the long term and consequently better patient care, which is the ultimate goal of any health care.
