Abstract:Uvod: Šikaniranje na delovnem mestu predstavlja pomemben in vse bolj prisoten psihosocialni problem v zdravstveni negi, kjer so zaposleni zaradi narave dela, visokih obremenitev in kompleksnih medosebnih odnosov pogosto izpostavljeni različnim oblikam psihičnega nasilja. Omenjene oblike šikaniranja pomembno vplivajo na posameznikovo duševno zdravje, delovno zadovoljstvo ter kakovost in varnost zdravstvene oskrbe. Metode: Pregled znanstvene literature smo izvedli v podatkovnih bazah CINAHL Ultimate (EBSCOhost Web), PubMed in Medline (EBSCOhost Web). Pri oblikovanju raziskovalnega vprašanja smo uporabili pristop PCC. V končno analizo so bili vključeni pregledi literature, objavljeni v obdobju do leta 2026. Zbrane podatke smo prikazali s PRISMA diagramom, obdelali z narativno metodo in jih predstavili v evalvacijski tabeli. Pregled literature dodatno poudarja pomen varnega in podpornega delovnega okolja v zdravstveni negi.

Title:Experiences of nursing staff with workplace mobbing: a literature review
Abstract:Introduction: Workplace bullying represents an important and increasingly prevalent psychosocial problem in healthcare, where nurses are often exposed to various forms of psychological abuse due to the nature of work, high workloads, and complex interpersonal relationships. These forms of mobbing significantly affect individuals’ mental health, job satisfaction, and the quality and safety of healthcare system. Methods: We conducted a review of the scientific literature using the CINAHL Ultimate (EBSCOhost Web), PubMed, Medline (EBSCOhost Web), and databases. The PCC approach was applied in formulating the research question. Literature reviews published up to 2026 were included in the final analysis. The collected data were illustrated with a PRISMA diagram, analyzed using a narrative method and presented in an evaluation table. Results: Nine studies met the inclusion criteria. The findings show that workplace bullying in nursing most commonly manifests as humiliation, exclusion, verbal abuse, and devaluation of work. It is associated with negative consequences for mental health, job performance, and the quality of patient care. Discussion and conclusion: Workplace bullying is a multidimensional problem that requires systemic organizational measures, strengthened support for employees, and the development of strategies to prevent violence in the work environment. The review further highlights the importance of a safe and supportive working environment in nursing.
