Title:Human resource management model in uncertain business conditions
Abstract:The thesis aims at investigating the role of human resource management in uncertain business environments and at developing a model, based on the review of scientific and professional literature, that will assist organizations in better dealing with various forms of uncertainty. The research has shown that modern organizations are influenced by many factors of uncertainty, such as economic, technological, demographic, legislative, geopolitical, environmental, and psychological changes. It has been proven that human resource management is not just a support function but an important strategic aspect for organizational resilience, adaptability, and long-term success. Based on the research results, a strategic leadership, organizational culture, employee development, and flexible HR practices-based human resource management model was developed. Reviewing the literature suggested that open communication, flexible work arrangements, employee well-being, competency development, and effective change management are important for managing uncertainty successfully. The proposed model gives a theoretical foundation for further development of human resource practices in Slovenian organisations. It can serve as a starting point for future empirical research in the field of human resource management under uncertain business conditions.
Keywords:human resource management, uncertainty, crisis management, МČV model, communication, flexible forms of work, employee support, Slovenian companies.
